SPX Scalp Signals

SPX Lens draws live scalp entry signals on the S&P 500 chart — green B pills for longs, red S for shorts — from a toolkit of six strategies you can apply to any timeframe. Every strategy ships with its backtested edge readout (win rate, expectancy, profit factor) computed over years of intraday history, and the readout is recomputed live for whatever settings you choose. When a configuration has no edge, the panel says so — honesty is the feature.

The strategy toolkit

VWAP mean-reversion

Fades a stretch beyond a volatility band around the session VWAP once price closes back inside, targeting the snap-back. This is the flagship: buying dips below VWAP has been the most robust edge in our five-year backtests, which is why it is the default on the 15- and 30-minute charts (long-only — the index's upward drift makes the short side much harder).

Trendline breaks (LOC)

Builds trendlines through recent pivot highs and lows and signals when a close breaks a falling resistance line (buy) or a rising support line (sell), with a volatility-scaled confirmation buffer and an optional next-bar follow-through confirmation to filter false breaks. The lines are drawn on the chart so you can see exactly what triggered.

Momentum divergence

Detects price making a new extreme that ATR-normalized momentum refuses to confirm, then optionally waits for a candlestick confirmation (engulfing or pin bar) before firing. Strongest on the 15-minute chart in our tests.

Squeeze / EMA flips and crosses

An EMA 8×13 flip gated by trend stack (the "sushi roll"), classic fast-MA crosses of VWAP or EMA-21 with an armed-ready/pullback sequence, and a stacked-EMA alignment trigger round out the kit.

Risk management built in

Each strategy carries tuned stops, targets, trailing exits (including ATR chandelier), cooldowns and optional time-of-day windows. The presets loaded from the Trigger dropdown are the configurations that survived out-of-sample testing on the full history — not curve-fit demos.

Signals are decision support, not a trade plan. Costs, slippage and regime change all bite; the edge readout exists precisely so you can judge how much weight a signal deserves.
